An open wound is an open wound is an open wound. The dogs lick your wounds and you sit still, hoping for relief. You hope for just a little respite. Behold, I send one who loves not his life unto death. He will pull down the ancient tree. He will emerge from the winepress and tear down the family idols and altars. Your people’s groans have reached heaven, and I have some who have dedicated themselves to calling out to me. Look! The redeemer I send is a shock. He arrives in a suit. He looks like a businessman, but he is on my business. He has fleeced in prayer, his face is set like flint, and though some have spurned him, yet he is my chosen one… able to travel on the winds of travail. No more a hissing to nations, I will overthrow the pretenders to power. Their time is expended and my writing is on their walls. Their opulence in the presence of beggars is an offense to heaven and the tipping point has been reached in the scales of heaven. My balance is just and true. The people will hear and be glad. Some nations will wring their hands in desperation, but in a short time I will bring true balance in favor of my weeping ones.

About Kent DaVault

Believer, husband, father, grandfather, professor, voice to the nations. This blog is for comfort, exhortation, and edification. These are the attributes of general prophecy in I Corinthians 14 from The Bible. The entries are first person point of view from God as He prompts me what He would like to say. These entries are not scripture, I am not God, and all entries must be held to the light of scripture. I am human and therefore fallible. If any entries are not biblically sound, I welcome feedback... May you be richly blessed of God.
