Why, why, why, you say. Never ending questions and frustrations. If I give you a millions pounds to carry, it’s too much for you to bear. In the same way, the answers will spawn more questions. Will the pot tell the potter what to make? Will the vine direct the vinedresser? Know this. The plans and purposes I have for you are for good and not harm. I have a place of rest that will place you above many of your brothers. From this place, it’s not a place of lordship, but of servanthood. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and He will exalt you in due season. Your due season is waiting in the wings if you will learn this. I will have mercy upon whom I have mercy. Can you weigh the balances of justice and mercy? Can you hold the tears and determine the tipping point? When is a cup of iniquity full? Do justice to the fatherless and widows. Come and learn of me for I am meek and lowly. Your ambitions tend to selfishness, and you must not let a haughty look besmirch your reputation and heart. Go low so you can be lifted high… it’s my good pleasure to give grace to the humble.

About Kent DaVault

Believer, husband, father, grandfather, professor, voice to the nations. This blog is for comfort, exhortation, and edification. These are the attributes of general prophecy in I Corinthians 14 from The Bible. The entries are first person point of view from God as He prompts me what He would like to say. These entries are not scripture, I am not God, and all entries must be held to the light of scripture. I am human and therefore fallible. If any entries are not biblically sound, I welcome feedback... May you be richly blessed of God.
