In a tennis match, you can watch the ball batted back and forth, or you can be together with the one you came with. The match is a game, the one by your side is real. I said I would never leave nor forsake you. Governments come and go, strongmen rise and fall. But, strong men are made for binding. If you bind the strong man, you can spoil his goods. And what is the spoil? People! I have come with you for the sake of the people, for they are my plunder, and if the strong man and his princes had known, they would not have crucified me. But, now I am seated down next to the majesty on high, and I am expecting until my enemies become my footstool. It will happen. Now, I release to my prophets a noise… a sound in the jungle. The animals hear it, the birds, even the serpents hear it. It is low, and growing. It will resound and redound into victory. Side with the procession of triumph, come to me for cords that bind the strong men, for they are not strong. Their strength has fled and they tremble. They puff, they posture, and with great swelling words they threaten. Yet, do not regard their faces, do not love your lives unto death, for the rich and powerful too will return to dust. What will they have and how can they stand? You will have the testimony of the upright, and you have been washed clean and white as snow. Your raiment is spotless. Rejoice with exceeding great joy, for redemption of all things is at the door.
