Cameroon

What are you doing now? Do you loll in the sun? Are there laurels and tranquility that you abide in? It is written, “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands, and poverty will come upon you and scarcity like an armed man.” Why will a father protect his virgin daughter? Because, a father was a young man once too, and he well knows what is in the heart of men… plunder. I tell you that armed men are looking at you. They hope you become fat, listless, unaware, and satisfied. As you let your guard down, the thief creeps ever closer. Shake yourself, Cameroon! Wake up you prayer warriors! If the watchman sleeps, all is lost. As you arose in the past, you became clearer on the radar, and some began to search you out. Monied interests looked to you to harvest your resources. They viewed you as a prize, and they have plotted your rape. Turn to me again. O you pastors, do not harvest the sheep as an inheritance, for I am your inheritance. I am more than enough, and the sheep are mine. What will I do to a wicked shepherd? Read the Word you use to preach. Hold up the mirror and behold yourself. Repent while there is time, for time does not respect you, and the times are changing under your feet as I speak.
