Iraq

A cloud, a mist, and a wind from the Northwest has come. The mist seems refreshing at first, but it is a vapor. The harsh wind of scirocco has come upon you. It is hatched in languid places, is seductive, but now reaches strength. I will quench it. I will draw you out again. I will expose to the bone. This time, the defender will be definitive, for enough time has passed. Long ago, true repentance took root, but the sun has dried and withered a good shoot. I will water this time with judgement and mercy. I will exclude neither. The cargo that is arriving has both. The resolve that has come is righteous. Choose this day, sack cloth and ashes, or a crypt. Children will play, women will cook and weep, but your men are now being weighed. Prayers are needed, the watchmen have seen, the alarm is sounded, the call for arms is lifted… for the arms lifted have a supplication in one hand, and a weapon in the other. How else can the building take place?

About Kent DaVault

Believer, husband, father, grandfather, professor, voice to the nations. This blog is for comfort, exhortation, and edification. These are the attributes of general prophecy in I Corinthians 14 from The Bible. The entries are first person point of view from God as He prompts me what He would like to say. These entries are not scripture, I am not God, and all entries must be held to the light of scripture. I am human and therefore fallible. If any entries are not biblically sound, I welcome feedback... May you be richly blessed of God.
