(Turkey) President – Recep Tayyip Erdoğan[λ]

President – Recep Tayyip Erdoğan[λ]
Women dress and undress in seclusion, speak in secret and in hushed tones. It shall not be so for you, for you are a man. Stand and say your mind openly. No secrets, only open for all to see and hear. Let history judge. So here you are onstage. Well has it been said:
All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin’d,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper’d pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav’d, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Erdogan, Erdogan, can you locate yourself? What will I do as Lord? Now, I begin to open your eyes and bring clarity. I visit you in night seasons, in dreams and visions, for I love you and I am not willing for you to perish. The prayers that have been, and even now are being prayed I cannot ignore. I watch and listen to women in secret, but you are in the open and I will address you openly. Now, from the North, I bring early snow. Even in your capital… as a sign, for as the frost descends in an unnerving way, so I will bring disquiet to the population, for it’s time for Turkey to step onto the stage. And will it be comedy, tragedy, or noble? Behold, I set before you life and death… the power of choice is in your tongue. Alliances are faux alliances that mean only to plunder for their enjoyment. Look now to the south, for your roots lie there, and nourishment will come only from there. Make no mistake and do not place yourself at cross purposes to heaven… only to your ruin.

Prime Minister – Binali Yıldırım
Prepare yourself! Dredge up your notes and textbooks and brush up, for promotion is coming. Weight is being prepared for your shoulders. Yoke yourself therefore and learn of me… my yoke is easy and burden is light. It will crush you if you fail to look to me, for stronger men have suffered shipwreck under lesser loads. The cargo is the people, and I do not want them lost, so I will show you the safe harbor on the lee side. Rocks abound and the wind of history seems contrary, but I speak to the wind and sea and they obey me. Look up therefore, for your redemption and redeemer are very close. Do not love your life, for if you will lose your life for my sake and the gospel, you will gain life indeed.
