“Cradle of the Morning” ….. + (Cairo, Egypt)

1Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.…(Isa 53:1-2) The destroyer has hated you, O city of refuge. He rages even now that you should have provided shelter to the great high priest. 2The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” 3Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew. (Ps. 110:2-3) The blood of my people cries out to me from your sand, your rocks, and your streets. I have heard the cries from the storehouse, from the womb of justice and mercy. You are weighed in the balances. Did I not use you before? I will use you yet again. Did you not offer a branch to the great city? I will make you greater still. I have my servants who await my word and gladly do my bidding. They are placed by me in high places. There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Do not think that blood is thicker than water, for the water and the blood testify of me. 7For there are three that testify: 8the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.(I Jn 5:7-8) Now, receive my Spirit. Behold, a cloud in the shape of a man’s hand will arise in the east. I will bring a flood. I will end the drought. Oil will flow in your streets, and it will come to pass that anyone who steps into it, I will save and heal. I am sending Elijah and Elisha to you. They will fight the destroyer with my sword in their mouths. None of their words will fall to the ground. I have a leader like Joash for you, O Cairo. His heart is young and pure. He shall be revealed in due time, but the earth must be plowed first. The hard and rocky places must be tilled. The small seeds I will gently beat with reeds that the husks may fall away and the sweet rain will fatten them. Will I not bring a fruitful time that has not been seen for generations? I say that your banks will overflow and the fresh water will flood into ancient places. Seeds that have awaited me will spring forth. Listen for a new song. I have breathed upon musicians. They will burst forth with a new song. I will capture hard hearts with it. Stringed instruments’  vibrations will resonate with my words and the sound will break up fallow ground. Hear now what I say to midwives: Break forth into weeping, for it may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. “A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.” (Jn. 16:21) The men will pace and race to and fro, but I give the midwives patience, for they watch the earth and await the birth in due season. They wait, they drink tea and abide with my hidden wisdom. Did you not give suck to the Daystar? Will I not repay? Open your vats to receive, for I am pouring out a blessing now that will make your brothers envious. “Why not us, why not us? they will exclaim. I am faithful to whom is faithful, and I will have mercy on the merciful. The princes of this world will rage and exclaim, “not again, didn’t we quell this uprising before?” Can a fountain be stopped in its upwelling? I have water courses they know not of and the raising of a hand will not stop the wind. Where the four winds converge, this will be your sign. Prepare, prepare me a habitation again: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
