“The watch”….. + (Latvia)

What watch do you have? Are you the lonely third watch? Is it dark and quiet? How many depend on your diligence! Those lying on their beds asleep do not sleep in vain. Their rest is at your expense, but freely you have received, freely give. It’s a cold watch, especially before the light intrudes in the east. Whatever it takes, whatever price must be paid, for he who watches over you does not sleep nor slumber. The fellowship of the watch can only be had by you when you watch and pray. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”(Matt. 26:41) It’s the flesh, isn’t it? I will give you a word for the watch: “And the life that I live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” There is not temptation that is uncommon to man. I am The Way, you will be able to bear it and escape it. Gird up the loins of your mind, strengthen your hand on your two-edged sword, render up the calves of your lips, giving thanks to the Lord’s name, for there is light in the east.

Latvia: A threefold cord is not easily broken. Your brothers are your brothers. but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. You are my friends if you do whatsoever I have commanded you. Henceforth I do not call you servant, for a servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends. Take what I have given and give away. That which you think you have is not yours, so give it away. Some say, the breath of winter is upon us. I tell you it is spring. As I cause hard hearts to melt, it is my life that has come. As you move from the shadows, or rather, as the angle of the Son of Life comes and the shadows disappear, you will find yourself bathed in inordinate light. Remove the robes of tradition, for I have robes of righteousness that have been dipped in blood. Look up, for my
word has come to pollinate. Many must taste and see.
